On scene in Allentown at the intersections of East Columbia Street and North Plymouth where scanner reports indicated a shooting took place following a vehicle chase from Whitehall, thought Catasauqua finally ending in Allentown. Reports indicate the suspect stabbed a police officer and immediately the police officer fired at the suspect. The coroner was dispatched to the scene. I will add more information as i get it.
